SeparatorS7 Water Separator

The S7 baffle type separator used for the removal of entrained liquids in steam, compressed air and gas systems. It is available in carbon steel material.
We recommend fitting of insulation jacket to improve the performanace of the separator.

BS 4504 Flanged PN16 or PN40 with screwed BSP drain and air vent
BS 1560 Flanged Class 150 or Class 300 with screwed BSP drain and air vent installation.
S7 baffle type separator is installed in a horizontal pipeline with the drain straight down.
Installation:
Separators with all sizes are fitted with support brackets which can be used to minimize piping loads. To ensure that any separated liquid is drained quickly, suitable liquid drainer/steam trap must be connected to the drain port.
When separators are applied in the steam system with air, air might be gathered in the upper portion of the separator. In this situation the protection plug in the air vent port shall be removed and a suitable air
valve should be connected to it. If not, the protection plug in the air vent port shall be removed adn the air vent port shall be installed with a Class 300lb carbon steel plug.
